General Manager of PT Pelindo III Banjarmasin Hengki Jajang Herasmana here on Sunday said, improvement of production quality of South Kalimantan typical fabrics among others by cooperating with batik textile artisans Tritik Jumputan Takeran Yogyakarta.
They were asked to come here to provide training. According to Hengky, the effort is one manifestation of corporate social responsibility activities of PT Pelindo.
"Through this training, we hope sasirangan craftsmen will gain new insights on the making and marketing of the industry," he said.
The training, Hengky added, is a form of IPC (Pelindo III)supports local cultural wisdom, especially in the area of ​​South Kalimantan. In addition, he said, the IPC is committed to support the preservation of the local culture at the same time improving the quality of sasirangan fabric.
