The University of Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) is ready to recover full face-to-face lectures starting in the even semester of 2021-2022 academic year in early February.
"We are ready to welcome students back to campus with face-to-face lectures starting next semester," saidRector of ULM Prof. Sutarto Hadi in Banjarmasin, Wednesday.
He acknowledged most of students returned to ther hometowns in various regions in South Kalimantan and outside the province, considering the two years of COVID-19 pandemic had made lectures only available online.
Sutarto ensured that during offline learning, health protocol will continue to be applied, such as a mandatory of wearing masks in the campus environment.
Vaccination is also a mandatory for academics, unless there is a reason that prevents someone from receiving COVID-19 vaccine.
"Let's rebuild the academic atmosphere by holding various activities on campus such as seminars, workshops, and so on while continuing to monitor the development of COVID-19 cases," he said.
ULM as the best state university in Kalimantan with A accreditation consists of 11 faculties with 1,200 lecturers and 800 administrative education staff, now is serving around 30 thousand students.
