Banjar District under the leadership of Regent Saidi Mansyur won the Ministry of Communication and Informatics award thanks to its commitment in realizing the Smart City program.
The award in the "Movement Toward 100 Smart Cities" of the ministry was presented by Informatics Application Director-General Samuel Abrijani Pangerapan to the Head of Banjar Communication and Informatics AgencyAidil Basith.
Banjar has bestowed the award, with the signature of Communication and Informatics Minister Jhonny G Plate, for the category of Smart Environment with Quick win it runs, namely the Gebrak’s, which stands for the joint movement for access to sanitation or the elimination of floating latrines.
Previously, Gebrak’s won the Top 40 innovation award from the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Ministry which was the achievement of the Smart Environment program from six dimensions of Smart City.
Other innovations were Smart Government with Barokah Public Service Mall, Smart Society with Sekumpul garbage bank, Smart Living with SIPO RAZA, Smart Economy with Kampong Sasirangan, and Kurma Manis, and Smart Branding with a joint movement to viralize Banjar District tourism.
"Alhamdulillah, the work carried out by the Government of Banjar District has received a positive response and considered good by the central government," said the agency's head Aidil Basith who represented the regent.
