The Government of Kotabaru District received the Development Budget Allocation List (DIPA) and funds transfer to regions and village funds (TKDD) for the fiscal year of 2022.

The DIPA and TKDD were handed over by Governor of South Kalimantan H Sahbirin Noor at the Mahligai Pancasila Building, Banjarmasin, Friday, December 3, 2021, and for Kotabaru were received by Deputy Regent Andi Rudi Latif.

Governor said this was a follow-up after the President handed over the DIPA and TKDD some time ago.

He expounded that the 2022 state budget (APBN) allocation for South Kalimantan is amounting to IDR25.07 trillion, down by IDR1.12 trillion or around 4.3 percent.

It consisted of DIPA of ministries/institutions of IDR8.179 trillion and funds transfer to regions and village funds (TKDD) IDR16.893 trillion.

“The fund is expected to be immediately implemented and right on target in accordance with the respective function,” said Sahbirin in a press release.

Deputy Regent Andi Rudi Latif, who was met after the event, said that he hoped that the SKPD (the government working units) to sooner take steps to optimize the absorption of the budget when the fiscal year run.

The SKPD must also use the budget effectively and efficiently, both from APBN (state budget) and APBD (the district budget), thus the development and welfare of the people of Kotabaru can be implemented.

“(Funds from) APBN and APBD should be managed and used as best and efficiently as possible to realize the development and welfare of the people,” he said.

The event was also attended by the provincial Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda), Deputy Governor, Regents and Mayor throughout South Kalimantan or their representatives, the Regional Secretary of the Province, and invited guests.
