Mustaqim, an oil palm farmer in Kelumpang Hulu, said Wednesday the results of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) from all the gardens in four harvests fell nearly 50 percent of normal conditions.

"Usually the garden area of 6 hectares which began fruits can produce 2 to 3 tons per harvest (15 days), now down only 1 to 1.5 tons per harvest," he said.

In addition to the results of FFB down, the price of at wholesaler level also decreased from Rp1,250-Rp1.350 per kg to Rp1,200-Rp1,250 per kilogram

Under these conditions, said the palm oil farmer from East Java, the income of farmers has fallen dramatically.
