Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Banjarmasin Regional Environmental Agency (BLHD) brings in expert to train mothers in the PKK and waste banks to train them in processing plastic waste into beautiful bags.

BLHD head Hamdi said this at training event to recycling plastic waste or garbage plastic bag into a beautiful bag in the hall of the Central Banjarmasin Sub-district Office on Monday.

"We observe it quite easy to make and does not require big expense, but can be sold quite expensive," he said mentioning the expert brought in from Yogyakarta.

He expects, the knowledge can be transmitted to others, so it can help increase family's income.

Junaidi, the expert, revealed plastic waste can be recycled into a wide variety of craft with economic value, even to hundreds of millions of rupiahs per month.

"Even at our place (Yogyakarta) we are able to export the product abroad, namely to Malaysia," he said.
