South Hulu Sungai (HSS) Regent H Achmad Fikry, accompanied by Deputy Regent Syamsuri Arsyad, announced what is allowed and not allowed during the implementation of level 3 public activity restriction (PPKM) in the district from July 28 to August 8, 2021.
The Regent, after chairing a coordination meeting of the COVID-19 Task Force to adjust the implementation of the restriction with the regent's instruction, said that congregational prayers and marriage are allowed.
"Marriage should be carried out at KUA (the Office of Religious Affairs), but the party is not allowed to avoid crowds, learning will be held online, parks and tourist attractions are closed beginning today," he said in his statement Wednesday (July 28, 2021).
Congregational prayers are allowed, but with strict health protocols. There must be volunteers with a number that balances with the capacity of the place of worship. It is because of HSS in the orange zone. While the duration of the sermon remains in accordance with the MUI recommendation.
"While we are still allowed to hold congregational worship keep following the health protocols to avoid crowds. Provide post at the markets, merchant, and buyers who don't wear masks turn back," he said.

Meanwhile, HSS also prepared emergency tents at the Brigjend H Hasan Basry Hospital in Kandangan to accommodate families who waiting for COVID-19 patients.
There are three tents readied, including from the Police (Polri), military (TNI), and HSS Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) which are equipped with folding beds, fans, and electricity at the front of the emergency room of the hospital.
