The Provincial Government of South Kalimantan supports the Gides (Go Digital Desa) program to implement 100 digital villages in the province.

"We are very enthusiastic and welcome the Gides program and ready to fully support it, so that its implementation runs smoothly," said Head of the South Kalimantan Community and Village Empowerment Agency (DPMD) Zulkifli in Banjarbaru, Wednesday.

The program is to be run by PT Mahakarya Yudha Digdaya (MYD) Group, an information technology company. The President Director of MYD Group M Yogi Chafoza has met Zulkifli to expound on the preparation of Gides in SouthKalimantan.

Zulkifli hopes that with the Gides program all villages in South Kalimantan can provide maximum service while utilizing the technology for the progress of the village.

He immediately gave a letter of recommendation to facilitate coordination and implementation of Gides program in 100 villages.

Even DPMD officers directly participated in providing assistance to villages as pilots in the early stages.

Yogi Chafoza explained that Gides is run through a website-based application that helps villages to manage data so that it is more transparent and can be seen by a wider community.

Besides, through this, it can be shown the potential of the village, such as village-owned enterprise (BUMDes) and the potential of a tourist village.

"Hopefully Gides can be an alternative information solution for the community to know about the profile of village with the various program it has and its advantages, thus it is more advanced and developed," he said.
