Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Kotabaru Police placing 150 personnel in anticipation of retaliation between groups of Tanjung Lauran Semisir village and village of Sungai Pasir, Central Pulaulaut.
Kotabaru police chief AKB Rizal Irawan on Saturday said, 40 personnel from Banjarbaru Mobile Brigade, 10 personnel from the South Kalimantan General Investigation Directorate (Ditresum) and five personnel from South Kalimantan Directorate of intelligence and security (Intelkam) alerted.
Also supported the Directorate of Criminal Investigation, Directorate Intelkam and Chief Detachment of South Kalimantan Mobile Brigade Police. They were alerted to the conditions till the two groups actually stated conducive.
All are performing their duties. Most guard in the post, some patrols and raids, as well as some others do outreach to the community, while the other probing into the conflict.
Police chief said the peace between two sides already facilitated by Kotabaru Police, South Kalimantan Regional Police, Regent Kotabaru and some religious leaders and community leaders.
Quarrel between groups, which killed Syahrudin (40) and caused four people injured, came from a group, suspected drunk, that mocking other groups at a stall in the Gunung Batu Ladong, Thursday (7/5). Drunken group also damaged a motorcycle belonging to other group.
