Pelaihari, South Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Tanah Laut District Government plans to fix and reorganize green open spaces around the market place.


"We need to think about building representative market on the capital district which supported with green open space for the convenience and security of trade and shopping community," said Regent H Bambang Alamsyah in Pelaihari, Wednesday (25/3).

According to him, the green open space needs to be built in an effort to achieve the target of 30 percent, according mandate of the current regulations.

"Likewise, a representative market one of which reduces people to shop out of the area, if it is more comfortable and complete items sell here," he said.

Tanah Laut clean and beauty has to be maintained, he argues, regardless of winning Adipura or clean town award.

"Hopefully this year Tanah Laut regain the trophy for the second time," he said.

Head of the Environment Agency (BLH), Riyadi optimistic Tanah Laut can maintain clean city trophy or Adipura in 2014.

"In the first stage of judging of all the objects Tanah Laut was on top of a standard of assessment. Likewise, the second assessment between April and May, we remain optimistic still safe, only one object that needs attention, market," he said.
