Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Bomb squad of Sub Detachment South Kalimantan Regional Police sterilizing the construction project area of Sari Mulia Hospital, where thousands of bullets and projectiles found.


Banjarmasin police chief Kombes Drs Wahyono MH in on Wednesday said the bomb squad brought to check the scene of the discovery of the bullet and the other due to the detachment is an expert in the field.

The squad not only recovered bullets, they also found hand grenade and detonator.

"All the bullets and others are found in the project area are secured in Banjarmasin Police," he said.

Wahyono went on, from the results of investigations in the field known the location was once the house of Sergeant Two Djouhani, a former member of Battalion 604 Kandangan, South Kalimantan.

As a follow up of the findings, the police also conduct an examination to as many as three of witnesses. They are Nurdin Djoehani (son of the late Sergeant Djoehani), who is also chief of RT 13 RW 02 Sungai Baru Village, Sub-district of Central Banjarmasin, and two construction workers on the scene, Ahmad Suryadi (49) and Suryoto (40).

Based on data from members of the Criminal Investigation Unit Police, evidences found totaling 9 mm caliber ammunition as many as 229 bullets.

Furthermore, projectile ammunition caliber 9 mm by 2 bullets, 5.56 mm caliber ammunition as many as 1 bullet, 5.56 mm caliber ammunition projectiles as 1,787, 7.62 mm caliber ammunition projectiles 1,447.

The police also found a 7.62 mm caliber ammunition casings as one item of hand grenades and one detonator.
