The state-owned airport operator PT Angkasa Pura ready to promote the various potential of South Kalimantan tourism and culture to support the province which is currently working to boosting the non-mining economy.


Head of South Kalimantan Tourism Office Syarifuddin said that the collaboration with Angkasa Pura I is one of the efforts to push tourism.

He hopes, through this collaboration, the province's tourism will be increasingly known not only in the archipelago but also abroad.

Especially in 2022, the Tourism Office will again launch the Visit South Kalimantan Year.

"God willing, we will again launch Visit South Kalimantan Year," he said.

General Manager of Angkasa Pura I Syamsudin Noor International Airport Amiruddin Florensius said that the MoU, they both signed, was a form of participation and synergy in supporting tourism in South Kalimantan.

"Syamsudin Noor Airport, as the gateway of air transportation in South Kalimantan, ready to support South Kalimanatan tourism, especially in providing tourism service at the airport," he said.
