The North Hulu Sungai (HSU) District Government received assistance of 5,000 antigen rapid test kits from the Provincial Government of South Kalimantan.
Acting Governor Safrizal ZA handed over the assistance to HSU Regent H Abdul Wahid HK in a limited gathering with the community and religious figures while he was making Safari Ramadhan 1442 Hijriyah.
"With the assistance of these antigen rapid test kits, the Task Force can detect cases of COVID-19, including if a new COVID-19 Variant found, so it does not spread widely," said Safrizal in Amuntai, Saturday.
He invited all levels of society, especially HSU, to be aware of the spike of COVID-19 cases, while remaining disciplined in applying health protocols.
In addition, in order to prevent the widespread of COVID-19, he urged people not to go for a traditional homecoming (mudik) for a while.
He also appealed that in the implementation of Ied prayer, the congregation continues to maintain social distancing, including when visiting neighbors and relatives, even though they do not mudik.
In addition to handing over antigen test kits, the acting Governor presenting assistance for the local government, educational social foundations, and places of worship.
