Pelaihari, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Chief of Tanah Laut Health Agency KH Junaidi said, patients with dengue fever or DBD in the area in 2015 increased compared to 2014.


"Until the end of January 2015, the patient has reached 50 people. However this condition is not included in the category of extraordinary events (KLB)," he said in Pelaihari (capital of the district, 65 km east of Banjarmasin) on Thursday.

An increase in DHF patients, he added, because not one month the number has soared. Differences with 2014, from January to December the amount ranges 102 people.

"In connection with the increase of dengue fever patients, the Health Agency has conducted outreach to the community in order to carry out the cleaning of mosquito breeding," he said.

Cleaning mosquito with 3M plus, it means doing draining the tub or water reservoirs, water reservoirs closed, burying objects that are thought to become mosquito breeding and giving abate.

"Not only do counseling course, we will also conduct investigations in the area if there are victims of dengue fever," he said.
