Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Mobile Detective Unit of South Kalimantan Police captured a prisoner who escaped from Children's Penitentiary Class II Martapura.


"A prisoner was caught after police conducted an investigation in the field and continue to explore every incoming information," said Director General Criminal of South Kalimantan Police Kombes Pol Yustan Sik in Banjarmasin on Monday.

The inmate identified as Fandi aka Tuhung. Previously he had fled to Central Kalimantan. Tuhung arrested by Resmob (Mobile Detective Unit) of South Kalimantan Police on Saturday (23/1) night in the village of Asam Baru, Seruyan, Central Kalimantan.

This inmate has often in jail with a variety of cases, ranging from chicken thief, firearms and past abuse cases.

After captured and examined in South Kalimantan Police, the inmate submitted to Children's Penitentiary Martapura, to again undergo the legal process.

With the arrest of Tuhung means four prisoners had been re-captured out of five who fled.

Tuhung when interviewed said that he along with friends escape by breaking the doors of prisoners by pulling together.
