Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Premium retail prices in a number of villages in the district of Kotabaru in recent days ranges from Rp10,000 to Rp11,000 per liter.

Residents of South Kelumpang, Ahmad, on Saturday said he bought premium at vendors still at the old price, Rp 10,000 per liter.

"The price of premium fuel in the village is not the same in every merchant, began Rp10,000 to Rp11,000 per liter," said Ahmad.

According to him, the decline in fuel prices by the government last week did not affect the premium price in the area.

Besides causing rural transport fares so expensive, high prices caused daily consumer goods in rural areas also rose.

Price of eggs, for example, usually Rp1,500 but now up to Rp2,000 per medium size egg. Likewise, the price of other goods, such as instant noodles, vegetables, fish, and rice.

According to some residents, the cut in fuel prices by the government did not affect the premium retail price and the price of daily goods.
