Among the 15 best districts police throughout Indonesia, Tapin Police won first place in the field of service, in particular in the driving license (SIM) and police clearance letters (SKCK) services.

"Alhamdulillah, we have succeeded in defending the award from the Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Ministry (KemenPAN-RB) in public service with A (excellent) category for the production of 0-100 SIM and SKCK per day," said Head of Tapin Police Traffic Unit First Inspector (Iptu) Guntur Setyo Pambudi, Friday.

Tapin Police gained a score of 886.30 for driving license and 836.29 for SKCK bringing the total to 861.30, the highest in Indonesia.

"To maintain the achievement we have to improve service facilities, such as services for disabilities. We provide wheelchair and special facility for women and people with special needs," he said.

Driving license services into villages are also provided in a more innovative, followed by training for the public, theory and practice also taught for those who want to submit for a new driving license.

"Our goal is that the public is no longer confused, and that is an advantage of our mobile driving license services," he said.

"The point is we are always proactive and responsive in providing easy service to the public," said the policeman.
