Acting Head of North Hulu Sungai (HSU) Health Agency dr Danu Frans Fotohena claimed that until Saturday (Feb 6, 2021) the first stage of COVID-19 vaccination in HSU was the highest in South Kalimantan.
"Vaccination coverage in North Hulu Sungai District is almost 70 percent within five days of implementation," said Danu.
He said the participation rate of health workers here reached 97,2%. As many as 159 health workers (12,73%) could not be vaccinated because of Comorbid and others, 208 (16,68%) were postponed. However, he said, they were kept being monitored so they could be vaccinated immediately.

Vaccination were held in 15 different places, including in the Pembalah Batung Amuntai General Hospital for 327 health workers, Puskesmas (community health center) Sungai Karias 53, Puskesmas Sungai Malang 59, Puskesmas Sungai Turak 26.
Puskesmas Guntung 20, Puskesmas Haur Gading 55, Puskesmas Amuntai Selatan 22, Puskesmas Pasar Sabtu 32, Puskesmas Alabio 79, Puskesmas Babirik 48, Puskesmas Banjang 40, Puskesmas Danau Panggang 46, Puskesmas Sapala 16, Puskesmas Paminggir 17, and the HSU Police Polyclinic 16.
During the five days of vaccination 856 people had received COVID jabs. "This is the highest achievement of all districts and cities in South Kalimantan," he said.
Danu also said that the second dose of the vaccine will be given in the third and fourth week of February 2021.
