The Banjarmasin Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) reported the current condition of flood disaster in the city on the 25th day with zero evacuees.

"There are no flood refugees left (in the evacuation places) in Banjarmasin," said Acting Head of BPBD Rudian Noor here on Monday (Feb 8, 2021).

Although he acknowledged, the flood conditions have not ended yet, but the water have greatly decreased, only in some parts. "Such as in Simpang Limau, Melati Ujung, Hikmah Banua Ujung, Pemurus Luar, also in areas bordering the neighbor district are still flooded," said Rudian Noor.

The inundation still exists, he said, is around 5 cm-10 cm.

"So residents who had fled have returned to their homes, there is no more evacuations because of flood at this time," he explained.

"There is no public kitchen anymore. Assistance is distributed directly to the houses of affected residents," he said.

According to him, basic necessities or other assistance, because of the emergency response status for floods and high tide has not been withdrawn until February 11, 2021, to be focused on the sub-district office.

"So,any assistance to be delivered to the sub-district (kecamatan), who will distribute it," he said.
