Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Banjarbaru Police destroyed evidence of narcotic type of crytal methamphetamine weighing up to 578 grams and valued at Rp578 million.
Culling conducted Thursday at Banjarbaru Police Headquarters by immersing hundreds of grams of shabu in a bucket of detergent water led by Police Chief AKBP Harun Yuni Aprin.
Police officials also witnessed the destruction, including the Head of the City Narcotics Agency (BNK) Banjarbaru Noor Fadilah and officials representing Kejari and Banjarbaru State Court.
The extermination of 0.57 kilograms of shabu-shabu is as a commitment by Banjarbaru Police to prevent and reduce narcotics and other drugs. "The whole range of Banjarbaru Police commitment to prevent, reduce and eradicate narcotics as efforts to achieve a drug-free city," he said.
According to the police chief, evidence of crystal meth were destroyed is the result of the disclosure of two cases involving the arrest of four suspects in November 2014.
