Tapin Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) joined other volunteers to help flood victims in Sungai Raya Village, Simpang Empat Sub-district, Banjar Regency.
Head of Emergency and Logistics of the BPBD Sofyan said 22 members were deployed and carrying 1 rubber boat, 1 Viber motorboat, 1 command car, 2 pick-up truck, 1 kitchen truck, and logistics equipment.
"We help to evacuate victims, providing logistics, and opening a public kitchen for preparing food for flood victims," he said, Wednesday.

Currently, he reported, the height of floodwater was between 1 to 2 meters, and most of the affected residents had been evacuated by the joint team.
Some of the victims took refuge at other residents' houses who were not affected, but some others chose to stay at home for the reason their houses have upper stories.
