Pelaihari, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalse) - Regent H Bambang Alamsyah revealed, until the third quarter of 2014 the Government of Tanah Laut has already planted 300,000 trees.
"In an effort to rehabilitate forests and land reforestation has been done in the area of 110 hectares," said Tala Regent H Bambang Alamsyah in Pelaihari, Saturday (6/12).
For each activity Manunggal Tuntung Pandang, the district government always plants a minimum of 1,000 trees.
"While the schools and the community in the past two years we have given 14 thousand seeds," he said.
Separately, Head of the Tanah Laut Environment Agency, Ir H Riyadi, admitted to this day in the greening of Pelaihari still lack and needs to be planting more trees.
"Based on the results of the internal assessment of district adipura team greening problem is still lacking, particularly in Pelaihari," he said.
