Basuki said, government affairs division of the energy and mineral resources covering the fields of Geology, Mineral and Coal, oil and gas, renewable energy and electricity.
Of the five areas, local government only get one authority in the field of renewable, ie, the issuance of permits for direct use of geothermal in the district/city.
Unlike before, the area still has a fairly broad authority, Basuki added.
"It is possible, after the rule was enacted, IUP expires, it will be no longer be allowed and may not be extended by the district," he said.
