More than a hundred orphans packed the nature school of SMP Alam Muhammadiyah on Jl PHM Noor Gunung Batu, Belimbing Raya Urban Village, Murung Pudak Sub-district, Tabalong, Sunday.

Not only from Tabalong, they also came from the neighboring district, Balangan, to take part in rihlah and tadabbur alam (tour and contemplate the nature) held by Komunitas Sayangi Sesama (KS2) Tabalong and the local board (PDM) of Muhammadiyah Tabalong.

"Today we invite orphans for rihlah and tadabbur alam (contemplate the nature). Rihlah is to invite them for walks, tour, at the same time building their soul," said Chair of KS2 Tabalong Erlina Effendi Ilas.

Rihlah and tadabbur alam at the Muhammadiyah nature junior high school (SMP Alam) was attended by 140 orphans. Here they were treated with stories of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) who became the central role model for a useful life.

They were also entertained by the Tabalong Civet Community by presenting nocturnal pets.

The orphans were also cheered up with gifts to bring home.

SMP Alam Muhammadiyah has become the place for touring the nature, because it is beautiful and shady place. The buildings are arranged beautifully and exotic dominated by local wisdom architecture.

The activity was also attended by Chairman of the Muhammadiyah Board of Tabalong H Hasan Mugeni, Head of Social Empowerment of the Tabalong Social Office A Muluk S.Sos, and Head of Murung Pudak Sub-district Rahmatullah Putra Perdana.
