The Ministry of Health, for the fourth times this year,  held National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas) for Community-Based Total Sanitation (STBM) online and offline Saturday (Nov 14,2020) in Jakarta.

The rakornas with the theme “Safe Drink Water and Sanitation Toward SDGs 2030”, which were discussed in four sessions, was participated by cross-ministries, related sectors, provincial/districts/cities health offices and development parters. 

Adaro was among those took part a resource, especially in the 2nd session with the discussion theme “Partnership and Alliances Strengthening Pillars in STBM Achievements”. 

Adaro was represented by CSR Department Head Zuraida Murdia Hamdie concurrently the representative of KSP (Coalition of Private and Government).

Zuraida shared about Adaro's experience in public-private partnership to achieve STBM pillars, one of which related to the importance of collaboration.

One of the Adaro achievement in the partnership was to deliver Tabalong to became the first ODF regency in Kalimantan and winning the 2020 STBM Award.

She said the key to successful collaboration is an agreed formulation that is consistently implemented. "It is clear who should do and how the synergy is carried out with measurable productivity," said Zuraida.

Director-General for Public Health Kirana Pritasari when closing the national coordination meeting said without synergy we would not be able to achieve great things.

Especially there are still 40 million people who do not have access to sanitation. "With the commitment of our partners, both the government, institutions and business world, Insya Allah (God Willing) we can achieve our development goal,” he said.
