Pelaihari, (Antaranews Kalimantan) - Vice Chairman of the South Kalimantan Broadcasting Commission and Regional Information (KPID) , Milyani, said that until now 10 community broadcasts concerned groups
(KMPS) has been established here.

"Of the 13 districts and cities in South Kalimantan, still there are three districts that do not have KMPS, namely North Hulu Sungai, Tanah Bumbu and Kotabaru," said Milyani, after the training event and the
formation of KMPS in Pelaihari, Monday (8/9).

KMPS was formed with the goal that KPID want they both overseeing the public existing broadcasters in the region. Then, people can separate educative and negative broadcast.

"This is importance that our generation is not affected when the uneducate media and community need to protect itself," she said.

KMPS can become partners of  South Kalimantan KPID. "With the number of KPID only seven personnel could not supervise 13 districts and cities in South Kalimantan. Together with KMPS it can more easily to
watch," she explained.

She hoped, KMPS can work with local governments, particularly in activities related to the broadcasting media in the area.
