Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - The Banjarmasin Transportation, Communication, and Information (Dishubkominfo) Agency ticketed dozens of goods vehicles, because of not fulfilling licenses and KIR (vehicle roadworthiness test) expired.


"During the three-day raid, dozens of goods vehicles were ticketed, most in violation of KIR," said Head Section of Control and Smooth Traffic of Dishubkominfo, M Yunus, on Thursday, when the raid.

He said more than 80 drivers were forced to be ticketed, for violating the provisions of licenses. They do not fulfill the vehicles licenses, in particular KIR.

He added that the data of amount of vehicles not roadworthy was obtained in UPTD Motor Vehicle Inspection (PKB) at Jalan Gubernur Soebardjo or South Rim Banjarmasin.

"That's why we do raid. First day at South Ring Road, second at Jalan Brigjen Hasan Basri - Kayu Tangi, this third day on Jalan H Anang Adenansi," he said.

In addition, Banjarmasin Dishubkominfo tiketed tronton motor vehicle trucks for incomplete transport permit when operating on the road.

Similarly to the truck with an excessive load of freight tonnage, and tub or chassis that exceeds the dimensions or length of the truck exceed the standards, got tickets.

"For all ticketed vehicles , we seized their STNK (vehicle registration) and other letters that are no longer valid," said Yunus who is futsal coach for members of the PWI.

"Those who got tickets were submitted to the District Court of Banjarmasin. So the driver has to deal it in court," he said.
