Transactios in the digital world continue to be busy, especially during the pandemic when people's movements begin to be restricted. This condition also forces MSMEs to be digitally literate to use it as a media for online promotion.
”One of the efforts to survive the COVID-19 pandemic is the adjustment of business model, therefore migration to digital is a necessity for business people,” said PT Adaro Indonesia's CSR Section Head Heriyanto Andilolo.
However, according to him, when MSMEs enter the online market or digital ecosystem, it is not enough for them to just be present and survive. They must be competitive.
Now many people are running their businesses online, competition is getting tougher and no doubt many MSMEs online business are eventually unable to develop.
How to make products successful in the midst of so many online stores? This question was answered by PT Adaro Indonesia's CSR through collaboration with the Balangan Incubator Institute (Link-B) Colectiva in the MSMEs Rising Program.
The MSMEs are asked to implement marketing strategy and must display attractive and up to date contents for customers.
For this reason, for three months from June to August 2020, Adaro through Link-B provided content creation workshop, covering graphic design, basic photography, and media creative content.
“We at least know how to take interesting photos and create image design that look nice," he said.
"Copywriting skills, photograpy skills, and design are useful in various fields of online business that we run,” said Head of Link-B Saiful Arif.

”I am very grateful to be given the opportunity to learn how to create content. Thank you Link-B Colectiva and Adaro for providing work and business equipment assistance," said one of the workshop participants, Rahmatullah.
Hopefully this program can improve the competitive position of MSMEs.
