Regent of HST H A Chairansyah symbolically handed over the government's social aid of monthly rice to Family Hope Program (PKH) beneficiaries at the Bulog Office in Barabai, Monday (Sept 7, 2020).
This rice social assistance aims to reduce the burden of the beneficiaries' expense, so they can meet their need and maintain their health, said Head of the HST Social Office HM Yusuf.
A total of 8.306 PKH beneficiaries in HST District each received 15 Kg of medium quality rice per month for three months from July to September.

Head of Bulog Regional Subdivision of Barabai Budiawan said the distribution started in September for allocation of two months at a time, namely 30 kg for 8,306 beneficiaries. The total rice distributed by Bulog reached 249,180 kg.
Regent H A Chairansyah said, for the umpteenth time the government has again alloted social assistance to reduce the burden on the community due to the pandemic.
"This rice social assistance is one of social safety net programs which is the results of cooperation between the Ministry of Social Affairs and Bulog," he said.
