Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - Markets and shops in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan capital city, mostly are still closed at H+1 of Eid 1435 Hijri. 

Antaranews South Kalimantan observed on Tuesday, a number of shops or stores were closed on the second day of Eid al-Fitr 1435 H, like at Sudimampir shopping complex, Ujung Murung, and Market Kelenteng. 

Similarly situation seen at Lima Market, Baru Market and Harum Manis Market, Hasanuddin shops, and most of shops at the Lama Market. Unless a fews stores showed activity. 

It also seen in the traditional markets in the "city of a thousand rivers" (nickname for Banjarmasin) mostly still closed, such as Kesatrian Market, Pandu Market, and Kuripan Market. 

Along with many stores closed, traffic flow in areas of the shopping center is relatively smooth, due to passing motorists also somewhat less than normal days. 

In contrast, the Duta Mall, a modern shopping center in the capital city of South Kalimantan, was crowded at D+1, so cars have to queue long. 

Other crowded shopping centers was Giant Extra on Jalan A Yani Km6, in the Subdistrict of Kertak Hanyar, Banjar District, South Kalimantan. 

The visitors crowded shopping center, because in addition to selling a variety of foods, there are also children's playground.
