Head of South Hulu Sungai (HSS) Health Office concurrently the spokesperson of Task Force for Acceleation Handling of COVID-19 doctor Siti Zainab reported 11 new positive cases on Saturday afternoon.
At the same time, she said, seven COVID-19 patients had recovered to bring the total to 41. While the whole tally of confirmed positive case was 177.
"Of the total 177 confirmed positive cases, 126 are inpatients, 41 had recovered, and 10 died," she said in an official report of the task force.
She explained the detail of the new 11 cases, namely a female (63) from Kandangan Barat Urban village, Kandangan sub-district, a female (14) from Pajampang Bahagia Village, Simpur.
A female (32) from Murung Raya Village, Daha Utara, a male (46) from Tambak Bitin Village, Daha Utara, a female (36) from Kandangan Kota, Kandangan.
A female (35) from Kandangan, a female (20) from Sirih, Kalumpang, a female (47) from Jambu Hilir, Kandangan.
A male (36) from Jambu Hilir, Kandangan, a male (47) from Gambah Luar Muka, Kandangan, and a female (47) from Angkinang Selatan, Angkinang.
Meanwhile, the recovered patients were a female (25) from Bakaraung, Angkinang, a male (13) from Wasah, Simpur, a male (26) from Amawang Kiri, Kandangan, a female (27) from Ulin, Simpur.
Then a male (27) from Tanah Bangkang, Sungai Raya, a male (26) from Bakaraung, Angking, and a female (37) from Bamban, Angkinang.
"The number of Patient Under Surveillance (PDP) is 12, People Under Monitoring (ODP) 393, and 356 of them had completed their period of monitoring while 37 people are in the process of monitoring," she said.
