The South Kalimantan Task Force for the Acceleration of COVID-19 Handling announced new cases highly dropped with 27 cases on Tuesday (June 24, 2020) compared to 89 cases on Monday (June 23, 2020).

At the same time, the number of recovery cases continued to increase. "Today the number of COVID-19 in South Kalimantan reached 2.685, with an increase of 27 news cases, and 31 patients recovered," said the spokesman of the task force HM Muslim, Tuesday afternoon here.

Of the total 2.685 cases 2.082 in hospitals and special quarantine, 435 recovered, and 168 died.

The addition of 27 new cases came from Tanah Laut five people, Banjar District one, South Hulu Sungai (HSS) five, North Hulu Sungai (HSU) one, Tabalong three, Banjarmasin City five, Banjarbaru City six, and Barito Kuala District one.

While the new 31 recovery cases came from the special quarantine of Bapelkes Banjarbaru 26 people, Banjarbaru Idaman Hospital one, self-isolation in Banjarmasin two and in Banjarbaru two. The number People Under Monitoring (ODP) is 804 and Patients Under Surveillance (PDP) is 289.
