Tabalong Regent Anang Syakhfiani asked visitors and traders in markets to remain consistent in adhering to health protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
"Don't let the market area become a cluster of corona spread, so please apply health protocol," Anang said while monitoring Bauntung Market in Tanjung, Monday.
Anang, as chief of Task Force for the Acceleration Handling of COVID-19, oversaw the market together with the Tabalong Police Chief Adj Sr Comr (AKBP) M Muchdori and the 1008/Tanjung Military Commander (Dandim) Lt.Col.Inf. Ras Lambang Yudha as deputy of the task force.
The team still saw some traders and buyers who did not wear masks, whereas the health protokol required everyone to use face and mouth protection.
"Out effort together to break the chain of distribution of COVID-19 in Tabalong, one of which is by always wearing a mask when outside home," said Anang.
A similar plea was conveyed by the Police Chief AKBP M Muchdori to ask the public to comply with the health protocol.
Previously, the task force also monitored the implementation of health protocol in the Mabuun Market, Murung Pudak Sub-district.
Beside the trade sector, worship performance must also implement health protocol to prevent local transmission of the coronavirus.
