Tanjung , South Kalimantan ( Antaranews ) - It has been more than one month after the damage of solar power plant (PLTS) in the village of Panaan, Subdistrict Bintang Ara, Tabalong, that impact an aide health community centers (Puskesmas Pembantu) trouble to saving vaccines.
One of doctors in the Panaan village, Michael, here on Monday said, it was forced to take the vaccine needs in the subdistrict of Bintang Ara at a distance of approximately 70 kilometers by traversing heavy terrain.
"Since PLTS broken, for lighting we use the generator engine and forced vaccine stored in the Bintang Ara due to be kept at a stable temperature," explains Michael at Tanjung.
The vaccine itself is used to prevent severe infectious diseases that can lead to death and disability. That the PLTS in a relatively remote region in Panaan hoped to be functional again.
So did local residents, who complaint to buy high price of kerosene per liter to reach Rp12.000 as it quite burdensome if every night must use oil lamps.
Head of Regional Planning, the Tabalong Mining Agency, Bambang Irawadi said the repairation of PLTS currently being conducted and possibility in the near future can be used again.
"We wish this two-day the PLTS can be used and the citizens themselves could replace a broken light bulb," said Bambang.
Meanwhile, to meet the lighting for people living in remote areas, the Mines Agency will build 170 units of PLTS in the Village of Damboeng Raya, salikung village and Kalingai.
From the results of the survey in 2010 as many as 1,084 households in Tabalong not have electricity. While the PLTS that have been built as many as 150 units by 2012 and 172 units in 2013 using district budget. Including 80 units PLTS built using funds from the provincial budget.
