Tanjung , South Kalimantan ( Antaranews ) - Tabalong seems increasingly serious about developing Warukin to be general airport. Last weekend, local authorities held emergency response training as an airport emergency plan (AEP) document preparation.

All employees of the airport, from security to flight crash rescue officer and fire fighting (PKP-PK) involved, said Chief of Warukin Airport Technical Management Unit (UPT), Ady Fajar here on Friday.

"Even the pilot and passenger aircraft also took part," said Ady mentioning AEP training must be conducted in compliance with the Transport Minister Regulation Number 24 in 2009.

Training, which led by chief of the UPT service, starting when Airfast aircraft with a capacity of 15 people arrived at the runway.

Deftly PKP - PK unit car drove the car to the plane accompanied by Airfast crew to accommodate passengers will be evacuated.

After the passengers and the entire crew were evacuated , fire trucks spray water directly toward the aircraft.

"Emergencies training will be handled routinely as we prepare personnel for Warukin service development plan becomes public airports," said Ady.

The only airport in Banua Anam , which has a runway length of 1.4 kilometers and a width of 30 meters, according to the Airfast pilot, I Wayan Eka, suitable if developed into a public airport for ATR types aircraft.
