Minamas Plantation through its downstream business unit PT Sime Darby Oils Pulau Laut Refinery (PT SDOPLR) one again shared 1.572 pack @1 liter of "ALIF" cooking oil to communities surrounding the company in Kotabaru, South Kalimantan.


"This is a concrete manifestation of the company's concern to support the regional government's program in helping people who need basic food in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, especially in the month of Ramadhan," said Head PT SDOPLR Hamdi Abdul Karim, Thursday.

"This assistance may not be able to reach the wider people, due to the limited production of ALIF that has just been launched. However, we are pleased to be able to contribute to helping people in need,” he added.

The symbolic handover of ALIF cooking oil was carried out by Minamas Plantation representative Kusdaryanto Imam, accompanied by the Head Department of Finance Procurement & IT Muhaimin Iksan, to Chief of Sungai Taib Village Thamrin.

“We thank the company for participating in helping us in tackling COVID-19, especially in maintaining the welfare of people in need," said KH. Muhammad Yusi Firmani from Nurul Abshor Kotabaru Boarding School, who represented the community.

"This assistance is of course very useful for us and welcomed by the community, especially ahead of Idul Fitri,” he said.

The aid was distributed to the community in Sungai Taib Village, Stagen Village, AL ISTIQAMAH orphanage, BAITURAHMAH JANNATI orphanage, NURUL ABSHOR boarding school, and micro-small enterprises (UMKM).

Previously, Minamas through PT SDOPLR had also donated 1.000 liters of ALIF cooking oil to the community of Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan.
