Head of Barito Kuala Health Office Hj Azizah Sri Widari said, two residents who were treated at the hospital for positive coronavirus disease (COVID-19) have recovered and sent to their homes.
“By giving thanks to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala we deliver good news for the recovery of two confirmed positive COVIF-19 patients,” she stated.
Btl-01 code patient previously treated at the District Hospital of Abdul Aziz Marabahan and Btl-05 treated at Ansari Saleh Banjarmasin Hospital. "Both of them are from Wanaraya Sub-district. They were returned to ther homes on Saturday at about 2.30 p.m.," she said.
After returning home, they both could not do outdoor activities, she explained, instead, they have to continue self-isolation at home for 14 days to maintain health.
The Abdul Aziz Marabahan Hospital Director Fathurrahman said Btl-01 had been treated for 15 days. In treatment, it turned out he showed progress, and twice of the swab test resulted in negative.
Fathurrahman hoped, the recovery of Btl-01 will further strengthen the confidence of health workers to work more enthusiastically.
"We hope other patients being treated can catch up with Btl-01," he said.

He said there are still 20 positive patients in Abdul Aziz Hospital. The number to increase by seven following the enter of other five positive patients who were previously quarantined at the SKB Marabahan and the rest from self-quarantine at home.
