One resident of Central Hulu Sungai (HST), whose status was previously People Without Symptoms (OTG), declared positive based on a rapid test results.


"This person's status is still OTG, because he is still healthy and without symptoms," said Director of the H Damanhuri District Hospital of Barabai, dr Muhammad Asnal, who is also in the HST Task Force for COVID-19 Mitigation Acceleration, when confirmed by ANTARA News, Saturday (April 11, 2020).

On April 10, 2020, the HST Health Agency conducted rapid test onpeople categorized as OTG. "It turns out there is one person who was tested positive," said Dr Asnal.

According to him, based on the operational definition, the patient is required to be isolated at home.

"However, because quarantine at home is not possible, then the meeting of the HST COVID-19 task force with the regent decided that the person would be quarantined at the H Damanhuri Hospital," he said.

Until the news was published, the positive person was not quarantined yet and still at home being given explanation by the Health Agency officers.

Secretary of the agency Sakdillah, who is also the spokesperson of the task force, confirmed that the result of rapid test on the person was positive. However, he said, it needs a further examination to be sent to the Center of Environmental Health and Disease Control (BBTKLPP) in Banjarbaru.

"Rapid test is an initial screening. We send the blood result to Banjarbaru to find out the actual results," he said.
