The number of Patient Under Surveillance (PDP) for COVID-19 in South Kalimantan is rising by seven to become 15 PDP from previously eight patients on Sunday (April 5, 2020).


South Kalimantan COVID-19 Handling Acceleration Task Force Spokesperson HM Muslim in Banjarbaru, Monday afternoon (April 6, 2020) said, eight of the 15 PDP are being treated at the Ulin Regional Hospital in Banjarmasin.

The rest, one is being treated at the District Hospital of Abdul Aziz Marabahan, one at Balangan District Hospital, one at Boejassin Pelaihari District Hospital, and four at the Ansari Saleh General Hospital in Banjarmasin.

The majority of PDPs are in stable condition and are being treated intensively by the medical team. According to Muslim, Ulin 27, 28, 32, 34 and 40 are stable.

"While Ulin 29, 30 and 31 still suffer shortness of breath,” Muslim said.

PDP in Balangan Hospital also suffers short of breath, PDP inBoejassin Pelaihari, Abdul Aziz Batola and in Anshari Saleh Hospital Banjarmasin all are in stable condition.

The number of confirmed positive cases remains 16. They are 13 are being treated at the Ulin Hospital Banjarmasin, 1 at the Ansari Saleh Hospital, two are undergoing self-isolation.

Condition of Ulin 1, 9, 10 and 13 are stable. While Ulin 15 and 24 still experiencing shortness of breath.

Meanwhile, patient Ulin 25, Ulin 35, Ulin 36, Ulin 37, Ulin 38 and Ulin 39 are also stable. So is one patient at the Ansari Saleh Hospital, in stable condition.

"Two patients who are performing self-isolation had no complaints," he said.

Meanwhile, people under monitoring (ODP) in total are 1.239. The number has decreased by 65 compared to the previous day data of 1.304 people.
