The Balangan COVID-19 Task Force is targeting the emergency response period in the district to end in mid-April 2020.
Regent H Ansharuddin, who is the chief of the task force, said the emergency response which took effect on April 6, 2020, will end on April 20, 2020.
A number of policies have been taken to contain the spread of the virus. While a budget of Rp10 billion has also been planned to be disbursed.
Meanwhile, the data submitted by Head of Health Agency Erwan Karya Mega Latif on Sunday (April 5, 2020) showed the reduction of the number of Persons Under Monitoring (ODP) in the district.
Based on the data, the number of ODP in Balangan continues to decrease. On Thursday (April 2) the amount of ODP 100, Friday (April 3) 97, Saturday (April 4) 92, and on Sunday it became 84 ODP.
"This is because they (ODP) have fulfilled the monitoring period of 14 days, did not experience an increase in status, and were declared in good health during the ODP status," he said.
If there is no additional of ODP, then the remaining 84 ODP will continue to decrease each day according to the 14 days monitoring period.
"The latest data of the new ODP was April 1, 2020, so if there is no increase of status and no addition of ODP, then about April 15, 2020 we will have zero ODP," he hoped.
"Let's together fight the spread of coronavirus by keep behaving cleanly and healthy following the government advice in an effort to prevent the spread of global COVID-19 pandemic in the Bumi Sanggam (Balangan's nickname), especially in the environment of our beloved family," he urged.
