Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - Wings Air plane carrying 71 passengers failed to land at the Gusti Syamsir Alam airport, Stagen, Kotabaru District, and returned to Syamsudin Noor airport, Banjarbaru, due to bad weather.
"The Wings plane should have been landed in Stagen Airport at around 16:40 pm. But because of the worse weather, it aborted landing and plane back to Syamsudin Noor airport in Banjarbaru," said a passenger, H Nur Zazin, via cellphone on Thursday.
In fact, Zazin told, only a few meters away the plane was ready to land on the runway suddenly reverse direction due to bad weather accompanied by lightning over and over.
After failing to land, the plane had one rotating before returning towards Syamsudin Noor Airport in Banjarbaru.
Lecturer of School of Darul Uloom Islamic Kotabaru added, Wings aircraft departing from Syamsudin Noor around 16:00 carrying 71 passengers.
When arriving at Syamsudin Noor, many female passengers were shocked. They cancel flight and ask the ticket money back.
Zazin with another male passenger planned looking for lodging and will continue to return to Kotabaru on Friday (29/11 ) using the same aircraft around 05.30 am.
Adverse weather conditions also felt by Subrantas on flight on Wednesday (27/11) afternoon.
"The plane was cranked up to six times over the Tanjung Dewa, because bad weather happened around the Stagen airport," Subrantas said.
He was panicked when the plane rotate up to six times.
Meanwhile, the Gusti Syamsir Alam Stagen and Wings Air so far could not been confirmed about the related problems.
