Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - Chairman of the South Kalimantan Legislative Assembly (DPRD) Nasib Alamsyah expects, through the role of Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security (Menko Polhukam) the problem of Larilarian Island, Kotabaru District, can be resolved.

"Because of the Interior Ministry has not completed Larilarian Island issue, we hope through Menko Polhukam that
problem can be settled," he said before leaving for Jakarta, on Tuesday.

"May the Special Committee (Pansus) of the Optimization of  Larilarian Island Natural Resources directly meet Menko Polhukam Marshal Djoko Suyanto," he said replying Antaranews South Kalimantan.

Larilarian island was an issue along with the Regulation of  the Minister of the Interior (Permendagri) No. 43 of 2011, which established Lereklerekan Island (Lari-larian) enter the administrative area of Majene, West Sulawesi.

Then the South Kalimantan provincial government struggled with its parliament, until the Supreme Court (MA) of the Republic of Indonesia issued a decision No. 1 of 2012, canceling Permendagri No 43/2011.

But until now, the Ministry of Home Affairs did not follow-up the MA decision No.1/2012, to establish Larilarian Island (Lereklerekan) is in the territory of Kotabaru, South Kalimantan.

"Because based on a map of the earth , Lereklerekan Island (as in Permendagri 43/2011) are in the same position with Larilarian Island , which is located in the eastern region of South Kalimantan or near the Makassar Strait, " said Alamsyah.
