Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - Criminal Investigation Unit (Reserse) of Banjarmasin Police shot three Automated Teller Machine (ATM) cash thieves in the city of Banjarmasin.
Head of Banjarmasin Police Reserse Kompol Afner Juwono Sik here on Saturday said, their last action are known around 11:00 Saturday morning.
They perform action in three ATM, ATM Mandiri at the front of Fauzan 2 Restaurant on Jalan Gatot Subroto; ATM Bersama in Sari Mulia Hospital and BRI ATM on Jalan Belitung.
The perpetrators monitored by Reserse Unit in collaboration with the Traffic Unit after knowing their car plate number.
When going to pump station to buy petrol at the Jalan Sudirman, police immediately arrested one of them. From the results of interrogation, he confessed his colleagues were at the Hotel Grand Mentari. Police quickly move to caught them.
The three thieves identified as Muhammad Rendy (31), a resident of Gang Nusa Indah, Pekauman, South Banjarmasin. While the other two were Mardianto (36) and Suef (43) known as citizens of Pontianak, West Kalimantan .
When arrested, the thieves were trying to fight and managed to escape. Police shot them. By gunfire, each of their feet nestled with hot lead.
From the three actors, police securing dozens of ATM cards and around Rp44 million in cash also Xenia black car DA 7550 PC, suspected as a result of their crime.
