Balangan Regent H Ansharuddin received an award from PT PLN (Persero) of Barabai Customer Service Implementation Unit (UP3), because along the 2019 his government routinely and on time payed electricity bills.
"Our appreciation is that Balangan District Government has zero arrears to PLN. This is an example to the public to pay for electricity at the beginning of time," Manager of PT PLN UP3 Barabai Imam Ahmadi said when submitting the award to Balangan Regent H Ansharuddin at his official reidence in Paringin, Thursday (Jan 9, 2020).
By paying on time, he said, the local government has help revenue in term of local taxes.
"We inform you that in 2019 PLN has payed a regional tax of Rp3,4 billion to Balangan District Government," Imam pointed out.

Furthermore, he hoped to support all development programs in the District of Balangan for the advance of local people.
"One of which is the village electricity development. There three villages we will complete in 2020, namely two in Halong and one inLampihong. We ask for cooperation in land acquisition and in clearing of trees those will be crossed by electricity cables and poles," he said.

Regent of Balangan H Ansharuddin said, because of PLN service is not too much of problems, automatically people become aware to pay on time.
"We from the government always provide motivation and become an example to the people to pay electricity on time," he said.
