Police Seize Marijuana Dealer

Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - South Kalimantan Regional Police (Polda) arrested a recidivist drug dealers with evidence in the form of 1.5 kilograms dried marijuana packed in 50 small packs and four medium packs.

Kasubdit III of South Kalimantan Police Commissioner Cristian Rony when disclosure of drug ring case here on Tuesday said that the suspect with initials Id, is a resident of East Banjarmasin. The information came from local residents.

"When getting information about the drug transaction, we immediately conduct reconnaissance," he said.

After the surveillance and investigation for five days, police finally raided the residence and managed to get the evidence of 1.5 kilograms of dried marijuana.

Id has long been a target of the police operation, because of his behavior was suspected of being drug dealers in Banjarmasin.

"Id is a recidivist who has been in and out of jail, so we always keep an eye on his behavior day-to-day," he said.

Id addition, the police also have pocketed some of the names allegedly involved in drug trafficking, particularly marijuana.
