As many as 38 residents of two villages in Salam Babaris Sub-district, Tapin, have granted their land to succeed the 106th TNI Integrated Village Development (TMMD) program carried out by the 1010 Rantau Military Command (Kodim) in 2019.

The Commander (Dandim) of 1010 Rantau Military Command Lt.Col. Inf. Rio Neswan here on Friday (Oct 18. 2019), expressed his gratitude to all the residents who have granted their land for the smooth of the TMMD.

"Of course this an  extraordinary award from the people who have given their land for road making in this TMMD," he remarked.

Dandim explained that the road project in the 106th TMMD is to cut the residents' rubber plantation with a total length of 2,158 meter to connect between Suato Village and Kambang Habang Village.

"Infact, the residents have given their land and also rubber trees which are productive to be cut off," he pointed out.

Here then, he said, on the road with a width of 5 meter and a length of about 2,1 kilometers a bridge will be built

"We expect the road we build to really facilitate people activities and to help boost their economy," he hoped.

Meanwhile, Chief of Suato Lama Village Mukani told that 22 of his residents have granted their land for TMMD program. "Although there was an obstacle at first, but after the approach and deliberation alhamdulillah all resolved," he said.

In the existance of TMMD, he said, makes residents and TNI close and they always work in gotong royong (community spirit to work together).

Kodim 1010 Rantau do not only build a 2,1 km road in the 106th TMMD, but also renovating five houses of underprivileged residents.
