Amuntai, (Antaranews South Kalimantan) - Caravans North Hulu Sungai (HSU) came out as the overall winner in the 19th National Selection Tilawatil Qur `an (STQN) to the level of South Kalimantan Province.
The 2013 STQN held at Amuntai, HSU capital, which involved 13 districts and municipalities in South Kalimantan closed by Vice Governor Rudi Resnawan, thus HSU PR release on Thursday.
In addition to general champion, by the name Nida Khairiyah, HSU also won individual participants and the overall winner. As the host, HSU also won for exhibitions and fairs, parades and festivals ta `aruf Qasidah Tambourine.
Vice Governor Rudi Resnawan on behalf of the Provincial Government of South Kalimantan thanked HSU local governments, the organizing committee and the community for the success of the STQ.
Rudi also congratulated the participants of the district /municipatilies selection for the next pass will represent South Kalimantan province for the national level of STQ which will be held in the province of Bangka Belitung on August.
Vice Governor hope through the organization of Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur `an (MTQ) and STQ will be able to arouse the consciousness of Muslims in particular to be more loving and fond of reading the Qur `an.
Because, he said by reading the Qur `an, the public can learn, appreciate and practice the contents of the womb. "Al - Qur` an is the only hint of life that can lead us achieve happiness of life both in this world and in the Hereafter "he said.
