Regarding the discourse of its appointment as the state capital, Tanah Bumbu will facilitate licensing services for investors who will invest here.


Head of the Tanah Bumbu Investment, One-Stop Integrated Services Eka Safrudin here on Thursday said the transfer of the capital would require a very large budget. To reduce the burden on the state, the role of investors is to take part in making it successful.

The Regional Government, he said, would provide easy licensing services for investors to invest.

"In Tanah Bumbu there are many development programs that can be developed by investors, such as the Samudra Batulicin Port, tourist attractions, airports, terminals and so on," said Eka.

He mentioned investors so far invested in mining and plantations in Tanah Bumbu. "Other investments, such as tourism, the development of ports, are available, so we want investors to glance at this potential to support and accelerate the process of discourse on the transfer of the state capital," he said.

According to him, the role of investors can ease the burden of the state in carrying out the process of discourse on the transfer of the capital which is estimated to cost around Rp400 trillion.

The state will object if it bears the burden itself, so that the budget will not be fully borne by the state but will involve many parties, including private investment.
