The Distict Government of Tanah Bumbu, South Kalimantan, is going to promote its tourism to foreign countries and to open opportunities to foreign investors by embracing Antara News Agency.
Regent H. Sudian Noor here in Batulicin said, the regional government efforts to develop tourism objects in Tanah Bumbu by opening opportunities for foreign investors is to accelerate development.
"In this case, the regional government plans to collaborate with the Antara News Agency of South Kalimantan to facilitate meetings with foreign embassies to promote natural attractions in Tanah Bumbu," he said.
He explained that many of the natural potentials in Tanah Bumbu can be promoted, among which Angsana Beach, Liang Bangkai Cave, and waterfalls. He wants Tanah Bumbu in the future to become a tourist destination like in Java.
Promotion of tourism objects that will be facilitated by the of South Kalimantan Bureau of Antara News Agency will be by holding an expo in Gedung Wisma Antara Jakarta, while the funds will be proposed by the regional government to the DPRD on budget changes.
Serious evidence of local government in developing tourism objects one of which by disbursing Rp3.9 billion fund in the 2019 period to improve and complement all tourist attraction facilities.
"The improvement of tourist facilities can attract visitors to be even more productive. From the crowded visitors, the retribution revenue received by the regional government is increasing," he said.
