Regent Hj Noormiliyani AS opened a mass hajj rehearsal (manasik haji) for the Barito Kuala hajj candidates pilgrim in 2019 at the Selidah Hall of the Regent's Office, Tuesday (6/18).


Barito Kuala (Batola) Regent Hj Noormiliyani expressed her warm welcome and appreciation for the implementation of rituals. She considered, the activities are very important to provide understanding to each hajj prospective about the main purpose of departure to the holy land.

In addition, it can help facilitate all harmonies and procedures for the Hajj, both theoretical and practical, so they can be independent and able to carry out the whole series smoothly, well and correctly.

The former speaker of the South Kalimantan DPRD hopes that the pilgrims will take advantage of activities to gain knowledge and expand Islamic brotherhood among worshipers, so when they are in the holy land, they can help each other.

Head of the local office of the Religious Affairs Ministry (Kemenag) H Rusbandi said, the manasik haji for hajj prospective in the sub-district level are carried out in three zones. Zone 1 is located in the Datu Abdus Samad Dome  Marabahan followed by Marabahan, Bakumpai, Tabukan, Kuripan, and Barambai hajj candidates.

Zone 2 in the Ihya Ulumuddin Assembly in the Sungai Gampa for hajj candidates from Cerbon, Rantau Badauh, Belawang, Wanaraya, Mandastana, and Alalak. 

While zone 3 is held at the Adz Dzakir Mosque in Anjir Muara for hajj candidates from Anjir Muara, Anjir Pasar, Tamban, Mekarsari, and Tabunganen.

The plan, said Rusbandi, is that manasik starts at the fourth week of June until the first week of July 2019. "Manasik activities at the sub-district level is the continuation of the current mass rituals. According to the plan, eight meetings will be held," he said.

The number of Batola hajj prospectives taking part in the activity were 234, including 2 TPHD (local hajj guiding team) officers.
